  1. On their own? No registration needed. Combined with the six other M2 specific parts? Yes, one of the seven parts would need to be registered to be legal. The seven M2 specific parts are: trip lever, selector switch, nine spring, disconnector, disconnector spring, disconnector plunger, M2 hammer. -KristopherH The best M2 Carbine to have, in my opinion, is a registered kit, in which one of the specific M2 parts bears the registration information.
  2. Great point. Sometimes the formatting is pretty hideous with this Print/Save to PDF method. -KristopherH
  3. As much as I'd like to argue with you, I cannot. I would LOVE to see suppressors (and every other NFA item) sold in hardware stores for $9.99 each cash and carry, but I just don't see it happening anytime soon. My home state of Montana tried a Firearm Freedom Act in 2009. A bill was drafted and passed basically saying "Cool things made in Montana (except machineguns) and retained within its borders are exempt from Federal regulation." It failed judicial scrutiny. The legal argument against it was basically "Well, just because it says Made in Montana and stays within the state borders doesn't mean it could not end up in Wyoming eventually." Should we keep trying? Absolutely. We should just be aware that such legislation is mostly symbolic in nature and is not going to have much of an affect at this point in time. My opinion only. Worth exactly what you paid for it (MSRP: $0.02). -KristopherH
  4. R.L., I'm not sure what you are rockin' for an operating system, but... If you have Windows, you should be able to Print to PDF. Here's how I do it in Windows 10... Open the message Hit Ctrl + P for the print function Select Save as PDF in the Destination dropdown menu Find the location where you want to put it (Desktop, thumbdrive, Download folder, etc.) Name it Hit Save Make sure that it saved what I wanted and where I wanted it You can try it out with this thread and see if it will work for you. Cheers and Have a Great Day! -KristopherH
  5. A lot of these laws are just virtue signaling BS by our side. "I passed a (mostly symbolic) law that expands gun rights. Vote for me in 2xxx and I'll help pass even more pro-gun bills (that don't matter) in the next legislative session." Politics suck. -KristopherH
  6. I shipped my registered Uzi bolt and host gun for repair via USPS Overnight a while back. The total cost was $181.50 and I was only able to get $5k worth of insurance on it. I took a risk but the package arrived the next day. FWIW. -KristopherH
  7. I don't know if it is appropriate, but there is a quote I found some time ago that has really stuck with me. I'm wishing you the best, Robert. -KristopherH
  8. It's a fun gun, for sure. If one gets bored with 9mm, a 7.62 Tokarev barrel and Colefire magazine can spice things up a bit. If you go that route, watch your recoil spring. -KristopherH
  9. There is no ban of any kind in Montana. As a matter of fact, we just got a law passed saying that our state officials cannot enforce any federal gun control that takes effect after January 1st, 2021. I haven't heard of anything new happening anywhere else...yet... My guess is that something will be coming in the next few months, at least in some of the bluish states. In Liberty, KristopherH
  10. A JAC manufactured STEN Mk. II was my very first machinegun. I've had a lot of fun with it over the years. Plain, simple, reliable... I paid just over $4k for her in 2012, but to me she is priceless. -KristopherH
  11. So, the moral of the story is..... The ATF is consistently inconsistent. Sigh...
  12. I've only ever seen one for sale. Autoweapons has one listed on their website. -KristopherH
  13. The cost of living in a free society is that good people will occasionally suffer because some bad actor causes havoc. This is the ugly reality of our world. Gun control will have no affect on the morally degenerate. Good people, on the other hand, will have to overcome additional barriers to protect themselves. -KristopherH
  14. I'm not in Iowa but I have expressed some interest in living there at various times in my life. https://www.lawserver.com/law/state/iowa/ia-code/iowa_code_724-1 My reading of the law is: No. C&R machineguns are not allowed in Iowa, as they are "offensive" weapons. For what it's worth... -KristopherH
  15. Those Guys: PM Sent Other Guys: Oh shit. I'll take it!!! Sending FFL/SOT and payment now!!!
  16. Ummmm, guys, I hate to break this to you all, but Hunter Biden's daddy is the President of The United States. There are two justice systems in this nation - one for the plebes (us) and one for the elite (them). Not one member of that family is worth a pinch of shit. -KristopherH
  17. #^% that guy. He should suffer the bites of a thousand camel spiders. Cheap bastage. In Liberty, KristopherH
  18. I went to the "big city" of Great Falls today and I concealed carried the whole time. Went to a restaurant that served alcohol and a bar/pizza parlor. No problems at all.
  19. APEX is A-OK. I am not sure what the issue is, but I am confident that it will be resolved to your satisfaction, Mr. Erb. -KristopherH
  20. It may take a while, but I have confidence that you guys in Washington can do it, too. It took us about four tries. The first three couldn't get past the previous administration's vetoes. If the previous administration had signed the past legislation, it would have just been permit-less carry that we got. Thanks to his vetoes, we got a s***load of other great stuff on this go-around. Sometimes, victory tastes extra sweet. In Liberty, KristopherH
  21. On February 18th, much to the dismay of gun haters, Montana joined 17 other states and became a "permit-less concealed carry" state. In addition to full permit-less concealed carry, Montana now has the following: *Elimination of almost all gun free zones, including: banks, bars, restaurants that serve alcohol, and others *Enhancement of current concealed weapons permits. A permit holder can now carry into certain government buildings *Campus Carry. On June 1st 2021, young adults will no longer be disarmed on Montana college campuses This is a huge win for Montana and a small victory for freedom. -KristopherH
