  6. Send a signed and dated letter requesting a check to the ATF-NFA division at nfafax@atf.gov
  7. So how would one who has a paper form-4 keeper know if that gun is transferable? Is there someone specific to talk to at the ATF NFA Branch that can identify by Make/SN? I know a few folks with keepers, I bet they have no idea if the pre-86 was owned by a police department or merely a Dealer Sample its whole life? Is there a way to check?

  9. What kind of bolt head is that for the. 308 bolt parts?
  10. What exactly makes you think the RR PP guns value wouldn't be that high? There has never been a transferable 1980's production factory Hk Mp5 PP RR offered for sale. Ever. So these are setting the bar, so to speak. Some people don't buy MGs for investments, nor just to spray lead downrange as fast as possible. Some people are collectors who want original, authentic examples of firearms in their collections. And they are willing to pay more to own one. I'd even bet that some collectors would still pay more for a factory RR PP Mp5 even if they were told they wouldn't be able to sell it. Ever. And of all the people who collect firearms, the collectors of HK firearms don't seem to let money be an issue.
  11. Are you firing in single action or double action? There is so little mass on a snubby I can see how a DA shot could stray but a smooth say S&W trigger on single action, maybe just more comfort with the sight picture is all that is needed to get on target.

  13. @davester not exactly what you're looking for but I'll be posting a training ammo barrel in a few weeks.
  14. Thank you, @Bwana! I have personal experience with this ammo but it's always good to remind people that this is specialty stuff because it can be dangerous (as you described). My purpose: I've been collecting the 36 round clips (there's 288 in this lot alone so I may have gotten a bit carried away). Oh well, the clips themselves seem to sell for ~4 or 5 dollars each. The ammo is only valuable to me as primed brass. I've processed many thousands already (pulled the Bakelite/BBs projectiles, used the old powder as federalizer and reloaded the rest for my open bolt sub guns). When I get actual possession of the barrel I'll post it for sale (here on Sturm and UziTalk). My plan is ask 450 and see what happens. If I don't get close to the number I'll put her up on GB.
  15. Looking…. Needs to be in G-VG condition thanks
  16. I think most of the ATF rulings just materialize out of thin air, no public notice or comment period, etc. If, for instance, they were to decide to declare another amnesty period, it could just happen since it has already been established that they have authority to do that without Congressional/Executive approval. That's my take, anyway, but I admit I'm not that knowledgeable. If I was I'd be doing a lot better at the buying and selling stuff.
  17. Anyone know if a 07/sot can purchase an 80% Glock auto sear say off the internet with the intent to form 2 it?
  18. Troy I bought the 308 for that very reason. Tony on the guild cut down his shroud, I was lucky I found a 7.5 swiss barrel here many years back may still consider a spare shoud to cut down see my build on the guild Good luck
  19. Mine was approved in less than 2 days as well….(43hrs, 9mins) Submitted eform at 12:50pm CST on 7 MAY. Approval email received at 7:59am CST on 9 MAY. I waited much longer for the transfer from the seller to my dealer. All in all, I like the eform system!
  20. $300? I have one or I'd be interested at that price. Maybe higher since they're pretty rare?? They work great with the training ammo - just pop off the blank fire retaining clip and unscrew the blank fire cap. I'm curious - what do you have planned for all the ammo if you don't want the barrel? You may already know, but you only want to shoot it through a specialized, hardened barrel (like the one provided). If shot through a regular barrel, the steel BB will ruin the barrel. You may already also know to be careful about shooting any steel or hard targets with the BB. There are stories about the hardened BBs ricocheting (or coming back at the shooter).
