MGTedFL
USPS Red Label. It moves (slowly) from USPS Postmaster (stored in safe) to Postmaster. If something goes "missing" someone loses their job..... Unfortunately, as a civie, (not an FFL), I can not ship anything shorter than 16" OAL, period. FFL are not bound by this limitation. USPS rules. Best overall insured prices and guaranteed delivery. I had a 1921 Colt Tommy shipped, insured for 35K, for less than $200, arrived in 3 days. My M60 went to DO (FL to McCarran, NV) for E6 conversion.....fully insured for less than $300.....took a bit longer
Mojopin
Always used USPS , and had stuff shipping to be with FEDEX. For USPS I have found it best to introduce yourself to the local Post Master and tell them what you want to ship and if they refuse them having to go over thier head to the next level. I ended having to contact a post master General of southern PA to get a M/G shipped because to local offices refused dispite a copy of the form 4 transfer to the dealer. xwing
UPS or FedEx for handguns. USPS makes it illegal unless you are an FFL.
