  1. I haven't been maintaining this thread.. but it has some info: https://www.sturmgewehr.com/forums/index.php?/topic/18040-mg34-questions-becoming-a-8mm-ammo-list/ I've used Romanian (red lacquer I think) without issues. Also used FedArms without issues too. Bad stuff is Turkish and Greek.
  2. I hope so too but I would suspect a lot of it was posties. So sad.
  3. Folke is known to be a good seller. I've bought Suomi stuff from him in the past and very happy with what I got (also he has written great books on the German MG34/MG42/MG3)
  4. So when you switched between the uppers, did you use the same BCG, charging handle, etc? Have you tried different parts?
  5. I have this integral suppressor that came with my purchase. Pine Weaponry if I recall.
  6. GB only cares about money. Talked with an partner of the company by accident and total ass to me.
  7. Let us know.. I'm interested in knowing the times.
  8. First off I wouldn't call it a grenade launcher.. it is a flare launcher. If you deal with grenades then your falling under DD.
  9. Will you be using your same EIN number? If so then it is easy. File for your FFL 07. It is the same process as your FFL 01. Once approved you'll have a IOI come over and go over the details. Typically it is easier to get since they don't have to do the whole check if your allowed to deal in firearms in your area details since you are already a FFL business. So if you're under the same EIN #, your NFA items are already linked to the account and you just have to transfer the items from your books to the new FFL 07 book. NFA items are under your EIN # if you didn't know. Not your FFL. I'm more of a unique situation where I'm in a non friendly state for MG so I had to get a SOT to ensure that stuff doesn't get taken away. I would get a SOT even if I didn't neet to transfer anything because it is worth having to be able to build NFA items.
  10. Or get one with less blowback.
  11. That is who I recommend, Printscan and going to a UPS Store kiosk
  12. Since someone mentioned their experience with him.. He seems pretty honest. He recommended not doing a job that I had requested from him (Changing a large pin to a small pin) due to it being expensive. He said if I ever needed to have my SP1 repaired then adding a job like that might be worth it, but alone it would be expensive. He showed me some photos of his work and they looked good.
  13. Depending on the suppressor.. but I would say wear foam ear protection. Possibly safe in open outdoor areas. Indoors you'll possibly ring your ears. I shoot suppress and it is so much more comfortable shooting. Plus having weight out front, it helps with muzzle rise. Neighbors hearing it. Depends how far away they are. If they do hear it, typically it is harder to pinpoint where your shooting from. You'll less likely get a complaint running suppressed over shooting unsuppressed.
  14. Probably interesting looking too with the Chinese characters on it.
  15. This is becoming like Whack a mole. Legal.. yes by the letter of the law. Illegal.. only if your AFT or gun grabber. Likely you'll get a letter or a visit if you own one.. so hide your dog.
  16. You are allowed to call the ATF to ask status. If you have the information from the form 4, you can talk with them. The ATF's NFA Division can be reached at (304) 616-4500 for processing NFA forms.
  17. Might be faster to just cancel it and do a eForm! 35 hour was a transfer I did for a suppressor just last Monday. Crazy!
  18. So far for me on my personal approvals it was the email attachments. Last Monday, my customer and I submitted eForm 4 and he got the same email about the submission. His approval came in Wednesday morning and both of us got the approval email.
  19. What the hell.. Help a customer file a eForm 4 for his suppressor on Monday night... Approved this morning. 35 hour turn around time!
  20. No problem. If you need one or more, let me know. I've probably sold half of my stock.
  21. It doesn't look grounded off. It is suppose to index into the barrel nut.. There's a pin there. What is missing is the front mounting part.. and handguard.
