Thanks, it is a factory Colt M16A1 Carbine I bought one week after the 1986 production law went into effect. Other than the broken pin , I switched to a KNS kit , I stopped using it in 9mm. Too bad , liked it as an SMG also. Bought two Colt MO635 uppers and two Colt one piece magwell adapters and 25 Colt factory 30 round magazines and a 40 rounder from Stan Andrewski , and two Beta C mags new in the box. I guess Colt never addressed the issue and to them the receiver is expendable. I wanted to suppress one upper .............

Since you mentioned it... none of those guns are in the original configuration they were sold and two of the three have for sure been refinished. With that many guns, there are likely to be a few that have not been messed with, but these listed fail to pass the "original as sold" test. I'm a bit of a collector and now that we can surmise there will be "hundreds" or more of 80's HK in the market, that means they are not rare.....anymore. I have some very rare stuff, but rarity has little effect on price. Quite possible the buyers on these are not up to speed on the math of what is now in the pipeline?

Sold pending funds After over 21 years in operation, NFA Investments will be shutting down effective May 31, 2024. As such, there are some NFA items which are to be liquidated. NFA Investments FFL will expire at the end of May, 2024, so any tax free (Form 3) transfers will need to be initiated before then. This ad will be for THREE Bakail MP-43 20 gauge side by side, double barreled, shotguns which were converted to SBS status and registered by NFA Investments some years ago. These are all new old stock and may have minor marks from safe storage and handling even though they were stored in bubble wrap. Photos attached are of one of the three shotguns and I will be glad to send additional photos if requested. I would prefer to sell all three as a lot to one FFL. Price for all three would be $1600 shipped. Individual price would be $550 each shipped. Payment can be by cash, check, money order, or by Zelle. I no longer accept credit cards as I have already closed my merchant account. Electronic transfer paperwork will filed once funds are received; items will ship once the Nfa Branch has approved transfer and funds have cleared.
