GUNBUGS
That's probably likely to kick the snot out of you when you squeeze the trigger.

The concussion from it would be worse than the kick.

Crambone
I don’t think DSHK ever had stocks or bipods. I had to be one of the newer .50 guns as mentioned.

StrangeRanger
Did you even look at the pictures in the link I posted? They are not "bike parts." It could be either an NSV or its successor, the very similar looking Kord. https://militaryleak.com/2021/01/12/kord-heavy-machine-gun/ The Russians discontinued the NSV when they adopted the Kord but it is still manufactured in Ukraine and Kazakhstan so I would expect this one to be an NSV. Unlike the Kord the NSV is not normally bipod equipped but the bipod in the picture looks to be home-brewed.
Ryo
Not disagreeing.. just commenting: Stock is upside down when compared to the NSV or Kord. The barrel shroud is different. Bipod mounting is different. Trigger mechanism is different. Pistol grip doesn't match. Definitely looks like someone did some modifications to this

Can you believe this is the only thread on the entire internet where this has been discussed? BTW its not. Tons of other forums with other pictures, including ones with the trigger modified w/ bike parts and other diy mods. hell look at the barrel and the feed cove https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2017/12/19/ukrainian-modified-dshk-buttstock-picatinny-rail-bipod-ground-role/ Edited January 28, 2022 by taylorwso
