Both items are now sold pending funds. After over 21 years in operation, NFA Investments will be shutting down effective May 31, 2024. As such, there are some NFA items which are to be liquidated. NFA Investments FFL will expire at the end of May, 2024, so any tax free (Form 3) transfers will need to be initiated before then. I have the following 2 registered post to 86 machine guns for sale. These are for sale only to a current licensed manufacturer or importer with a current SOT. These will be no law letter/demo letter required for current manufacturer / importers since I am ceasing operations. SOLD PENDING FUNDS - I have ONE working prototype open bolt machine gun conversion for a Ruger 10/22. This was a prototype and is full auto only. it is crazy fast. It took quite a bit of engineering to design and build this conversion and I really hate getting rid of it more than most of my post 86 machine guns. I will include a 10/22 host receiver which is just a regular 1022 title one receiver. This is not a safe queen and there are a lot of machining marks on the components. I converted for use in modern MP5. platform clones. if I recall correctly, the trigger pack was an actual HK. It is missing the safety selector but otherwise functions quite well. Agree 100%. More potential for a bad outcome than good by bringing attention to the NFA tax.

I'm inclined to be opposed to it, simply because it might give the anti gun crowd ideas about increasing it, or worse, banning them entirely. Some things are best left alone.

I put a nice parts kit on a faux solid receiver a few years back (solid aluminum tube), screwed on a MP38 rear sight, and fabricated a cocking handle. Had my 'smith Cerakote the faux receiver. Looks pretty nice. That complete parts kit is worth a small fortune these days. I think the current closed-bolt 9mm ATI MP40's that some are SBR'ing (kit available) has filled the void for those not able to get a real 38, 40 or a closed-bolt semi conversion. Factory upper with 3/4x10 threads and protector, folding wire stock, front nylon strap, cleaning rod, mag loader, cardboard box w/ Cobray styrofoam insert, and 10 Zytel mags (9x 32rnd, 1x 16rnd). Also included are extra recoil buffers. This is currently compliant with CT law and is "full-auto-only" If this gun is shipped out of CT the trip will be reinstalled to allow for select-fire. Aaron, I have a stripped bracket with part number 7790550 stamped where yours has ??686976. Is there any difference in them? They look identical.
