Mr. Erb, I had PM'ed you saying I'd take the barrel, and you replied it had sold to someone else. When I read your post above, it looks like you sold it to me. If it's a short, semi-auto barrel I'll take it if the original buyer turns it down. That will fit my RR conversion.

Same guy responded to my WTB for a Vickers tripod.

I think gunboards has a 25 post rule, or something like that, before they can post in the trader forums. Granted, they have a lot more discussion subforums than sturm.

The only 2 replies I've gotten to a WTB ad for a Vickers tripod so far were probably scammers. One guy just copy-pasted an ad for one posted by a different member a few years prior, pics and all. The other had zero posts and just joined last month. Frustrating.
