These Black caps were issued on the M60e3 to hold the barrel latch on. These are decades old original USGI surplus. mattnh Posted January 6, 2023 Report Share Posted January 6, 2023 (edited) Whoa - this is an incredibly rare part. I’ve never seen one that wasn’t on a factory E3 gun. I’ve never seen this part included in an E3 kit even though it is part of the kit diagram as Aaron showed. A once in a lifetime purchase opportunity for those fortunate E3 owners…. Only an Uber M60 connoisseur would have been able to identify & save these from the trash bin!!! What a find!!! Kudos for offering these!!!
