for violations of their terms of policy. Example, if you post a gun related post, or a political type post, THEY don't like, boom your charged $2500 on your account.

FXck these leftard bastards!!!

These lying bags of sxit said it was a mistake after the previous announcement  until it hit their stock prices hard. Why they think they can do this AGAIN and not suffer the same consequences is beyond me.

I'm cancelling my PayPal account TODAY and I suggest everyone here do the same.

Time to put your $$$ where your mouth is guys.

they try to cancel us, we cancel them where it hurts. Their bottom line.

Unfortunately (for gun enthusiasts), a lot of companies in the financial industry are not 2A friendly.

When I started my business, the bank I had been with for 40+ years refused to open a firearms related business account (5th/3rd bank)

I then opened a business account at Chase, with whom I had a relationship for 25+ years.  They closed it out of the blue about 6 months later (again, not 2A friendly)

3rd time was a charm - opened account at a small, locally owned bank.  Service has been excellent.  Will be moving more of my accounts there.

As R.L. said above, put your $$$ where your mouth is.

I got burnt by PAYPAL. Apparently they do word searches on sites such as G Broker, that is where they got me, froze my account, kept the $400.00 I had in that account and banned me. There is a growing prejudice against lawful gun owners because of a small percentage of criminal and nut-job use, which when compared to the huge number of lawful gun owners is quite small. The media is making gun owners look bad; I hate when they refer to it as "gun violence" when it is usually gang or drug violence, with stolen guns. The media always seems to leave out the root cause of the problem.

Have you heard even ONE political candidate  mention anything about addressing the drug problem? Its always the gun problem.

Sorry to hear that happened to you Frank. That really blows.

What a bunch of liberal pricks.

The only way we can stop these boot-jack commie thugs is by cancelling THEM and the services they offer.

I encourage everyone here to cancel their PayPal accounts effective immediately.

The only language these bastards understand is lost revenue, and reduced earnings.

They understand that very well.

We are a HUGE community G.D.'it!!!

Organized gun owners can take away a large amount of their $$$ from their market, we may not be able to shut them down, but we can make a huge dent in their bottom line.

We MUST act individually to bring about a collective change.

Board members Do your part CANCEL your PayPal Acct. today and tell the socialist bastards why too.

Encourage everyone you know in the firearms community to do the same too!

Rant off, phew....

Guess I'm not done...

While we're the topic of social credit scores, trampled free speech, and socialist corporations......

FYI...anyone that uses Verizon cell services is paying these maggots to take away your firearms and gun rights.

Verizon contributes huge $$$ to anti-gun groups who in turn sponsor anti-gun legislation.

I spent 10's of thousands for business cell service over 36 years, and got tired of being bent over for service.

I switched to Pure Talk this year and never looked back.

Much cheaper, great service, simple to do and they use no social credit score to dictate your life.

I have no financial interest in this company, just trying to help other fellow board members and gun owners save some dough.

PureTalk.com

Cheers,

Use Huntington bank they are gun friendly

F@@k PayPal they screwed me o er and canceled my account few months back for ammo sale.  But had not heard of this 2500 bs.  If they hit me with that I'd sue the shit out of them.  Ohio has strict laws on discriminating against firearms industry.

PayPal suspended my account without explanation for 6 months AND THEN confiscated my $2250 balance without notification. Cork soakers.

Yikes! Whenever I would use PayPal I would immediately transfer the money out to my account. I used to keep a balance with them just for buying little stuff on ebay and whatnot. But not after hearing stories similar to yours.

as an ebay seller since 1996 and paypal user since 2000 I'm aware of many times paypal screwed small biz owners over most often freezing or seizing account funds for "fraud investigations" I remember many online sellers who could not pay rent or make payrolls because of these paypal practices

Most people have no idea that when paypal or venmo (venmo is owned by pp) cancel you they seize any and all funds in your account and hold it for 6 months while they investigate your account activity for fraud

it is extremely challenging to actually cancel a paypal account

after 6 months they send you an email showing how to get a check but in my case they made the check out to my ebay user ID which is not my name and it was difficult to cash the check (around $8k in my case) if you have this problem PM me and I'll give you my solution

I still get emails every day from paypal asking me why I'm not using my credit line like I did from 2000 through 2021 aprx $30k monthly according to them

you may recall paypal's first slogan was "paypal, always free" they got sued because nothing was ever free and they settled with the goobermint for millions but the end users never got a penny - this started a history of scams on the public that were settled for pennies on the dollar

Wow I knew Paypal was anti-gun but after reading some of the replies here, holy shit.   Makes it hard to sell ammo on Gunbroker if you are not an FFL that can accept credit cards.  As an individual you are limited on payment options either money order or discreet Paypal but lots of stupid buyers don't know what discreet means and end up getting their and and the sellers Paypal locked because they put in the narrative what they are buying with Paypal.

btw the paypal TOS gives them unfettered access to your bank account(s) and credit cards they can take any amount they desire from your accounts and you will have to fight their legal team to correct it so don't think moving funds out of paypal protects you
