Glad to hear. I got scammed out of a lot of money over my WTB post. Good news/ bad news. I ordered and received a new olive SSG 69 stock from a Canadian distributor. Received it in good order. Rifle fits perfectly. Unfortunately there is a channel underneath the forearm that is not on my original stock. See pic. I suspect it’s for a bipod arrangement. Does yours have that same channel?

Thanks for the reference. I sold both of my MP40s so now I just have spare parts and a bolt. I was just trying to get a complete one to pass on to someone.

Thx for the input guys. The threads on each look the same but don’t know how to go about checking. Nothing is stripped but the t internal threads won’t catch the outer ones. I have a metric thread gage from my tap and die set at the cabin and I’ll see if it has fine enough threads to check.

I bought this for a gun I had but can’t remember which. Almost looks MP40ish. Any ideas? guns@eley.us

I have a spare telescoping spring for an MP40. Both the portion holding the firing pin and the inside of the bottom tube of the telescoping section are finely threaded. However, the threads won’t engage, at all. Nothing looks stripped. Any ideas if or why the threads would not be the same?

What caliber? .380?

Thanks for the input guys. Does any one see a problem then if the sear registered as 9mm is in an HK chambered in 308? I can't see why it would except when trying to explain why to the next owner.

I’ve recently had 2 HK sear guns that each was previously listed on prior Form 4s as 9mm, 223 and 308. Same Examiner said they had to be limited to 9mm. They were then approved. Is this a common practice? Weren’t sears commonly registered in multiple cals? Jim Eley EleyArms, LLC guns@eleys.com

I got burned too from my posting of WTB on Sturm. I suggest that if you get an email or text replay from someone without a Sturm user name, ignore them.
