  1. You are the first person I've seen say what other parts get swapped for the different pitch belts/links. Thank you! I have a BPP23E that I gathered 21E parts for. It runs w/ links M13 currently as the late belt unit I got from hkparts is marked for that. I've only had it out for testing once. But there is some discusion that it may not be entirely correct/orig and was put together w/ non-german parts. I've been interested in converting back to use a DM1 belt (crank loaders are easier to use and belts are easier to pickup at the range.) I'll look through the parts manuals I have to try and find the specific part number differences. Not that that matters much as nothing is really available anymore.
  2. 303 brit = 7.7x56R I have an Italian gun in 7,7 (x56R) and it caused me some confusion at first. Never heard of the Brit round by its metric designation before. There was a Japanese copy of the Lewis in 7.7 Jap. Not sure if parts interchange w/ the British version.
  3. I'll take the RP46. Sending PM.
  4. I have one in transfer, but not the reflex version. Does the reflex part basically just replace the thread adapter? The normal pat of the can unscrews off it and could be used w/o it (if you bought a different thread adapter?)

  6. I've got at least one spare for the AC556. Do you need the blued or stainless version? I think my extra is blued but will have to dig them out to be sure.
  7. I have some used ones. They are slightly dark brown (bakelite?) color vs the larger black newer ones. They are all chipped. I can send you pics if you message me your email address.
  8. I bought a MG that had been transfered F4 to his dealer. So on the eF3 to my dealer, the manuf got changed from what it was to the same 'form 2 registration' you had. We hadn't seen that before and thought it was very odd since thats not how the other dealer filed it. Contacted the ATF and they said its ok. So I've started my eF4 w/ that info. Good to hear others are seeing the same. Does this make it harder to determine what guns are C&R? Or easier??? Does it say F2 registration on the C&R guns and the 'manuf' if it was converted stateside?
  9. That is a contributing factor. In the end all guns are different and sometimes require different parts to run (HK51 builds are done a couple different ways too.) Since you were peening the screw heads over you still have PLENTY of bolt velocity at the end of travel so I'd still try the smaller angle locking pieces to reduce the bolt recoil speed. 58deg seems awful steep for full power 7.62N ammo. I'm thinking that would be more appropriate for underpowered Wolf/Tula or something. But again, all guns are different and only way to know if it will still run w/ the lower angle locking piece and your ammo is to try. If you go too low, it will just start to short stroke.
  10. Shouldn't be any fitment issues. AFAIK, he just removes the brake bands on the spring and uses a longer pin on a stock G3 buffer. You don't need to launch grenades from a HK51 That yields a longer working stroke on the buffer to help slow things down more gently. The other heavy duty buffers are longer and may or may not fit in certain stocks w/o modifications. Bill's is just a modified stock buffer so should fit in everything.
  11. Sounds like a lot of good info so far. I would also suggest to upgrade the buffer. Even the simple Bill Springfield mod is a big improvement. Even after you update the springs, check bolt gap, get flat head buffer screws, and upgrade the buffer you might want to test w/ a standard G3 lock pc (45deg). IIRC the HK51 usually uses the #18 (50deg). I typically use the smallest angle locking piece that will still reliably cycle the gun w/ the ammo I'm using. Less wear/tear on the gun.
  12. Same place you find machine guns. Here, auction sites, etc. There are very few dewats left. Given the price of MGs today almost all of them have been reactivated. They don't sell for much of a discount (if any) anymore.
  13. Need a complete bolt head for a 21E that works with the original non-disintegrating DM1 belts. Not the one for M13 disintegrating links.
  14. Per our messages I'll take the huxwrx 22, Q erector 22, and the Mod9k trilug. Thanks!
  15. I'll take the 54R MG08 & tripod per our conversation today.
  16. Sent a PM. I'll take all 600 of the AP. (or more if avail.)
  17. I don't understand. How does Fleming convert the gun w/o a SBR stamp? The 43- serial number says it started life as a HK94 rifle. Was it originally converted & sold w/ the sear? I guess it could have been a SBR and removed from the registry at one point? Just trying to understand what it takes to be able to move the sear around.
  18. Looking for an HK11E recoil spring. Even better if its on a guide rod. Let me know what you have and price. Thank you.
  19. Thanks Buddy! Thats all I needed.
  20. Rex, sent you another txt. Can anyone vouch for Rex? I've not bought a brokered gun before. Is there a way I can view his 4 positive feedback? (to see of they were for MGs and not something like 4 small parts.) I haven't been on Sturm much lately and haven't kept up w/ who is 'good people' or what all the latest scams are. I have no reason to distrust him but it's a lot of money and never hurts to be dilligent.
  21. Looking for a Reising 50 mag body. Would prefer an orig 12rd. Would buy a whole mag if necessary. Don't mind 'cosmetically challenged' Thank you, Stephen
