davester
I am a Sole Prop FFL/SOT Type 1 dealer in NFA firearms. I want to do an SBR on a rifle in my inventory. Have never done one and have some Form 1 questions. I will have to pay the $200 fee same as an individual would? Should I list my name or business name on the form? Are photos and prints required same as an individual? Thanks in advance.
Ryo
You're not a manufacturer so yes you will have to pay a tax stamp. You can have a FFL07/02 manufacturer convert it and have it Form 3 back to you. Edited January 27 by Ryo
davester
That sounds like a faster plan. Thanks! If anyone knows of the right person to contact for that please advise. I am in Kansas.
Abbey
FWIW, I recently submitted a couple eForm1’s and they both came back approved in 8 days. I was shocked.
