WTS: T161 / Springfield Armory Early M60 Parts kit

Recommended Posts

Have a very rare set of M60 parts available. This is a M60 parts kit made up of very early T161 / Springfield Armory M60 Parts. The M60 was invented in 1957 and these parts were the very first deigned ones and eventually were replaced. Everything is in very nice condition and ready to go. The barrel is NOS made in 1962. It still has the cardboard tube in it and paint inspection stamps.

The differences from regular parts (and how we identify them as early parts): Has a mechanical buffer....Charging handle has no knurling on the grip.... barrel has different bipod, different flash hider, and slightly different gas cylinder.... Top cover tin is different shape (note the raised circle on top), different shape mounting block, different feed cam..... buttstock has sling swivel on the bottom and not on top.....handguard has hole in side for the Springfield Armory specific tripod.... Barrel latch is completely different.....Buffer yoke is different.... Trigger Group safety is different. Buffer yoke is different.
