  1. File for your 07 now as it will take awhile to get it done. I went from an 07/02 sole proprietorship to an 07/02 LLC. Its basically the entire process all over again. The only thing that is a headache is transferring items over your new books and transferring out anything you don't intend to keep.
  2. Yes all dewat/rewat guns must be filed on a paper form 1 (says it right on the first page of the eform form 1) Paper form 1’s were taking 60-90 days but that was last fall. Not sure on the current time.
  3. Paperwork is going in for the sole prop SOT to go away. Finally got the new SOT in the mail. Bump time to clear the books
  4. The barrel is a German HK MP5SD barrel….hence why I said “100% German parts” and I didn’t price it with a suppressor as I don’t have any on hand except me test units
  5. Here is one of the HK SP5 to MP5SD conversions I’ve been working on. This started out as an all HK SD parts kit and a BNIB HK SP5. Barrel and cocking tube was removed from the donor and the original SD parts were fitted then welded. The receiver has also been upgraded to be sear ready and runs like a champ with both a post sample pack, as well as my Fleming sear. Note that the front sight ring was cut:clearanced. This was done at the PD where the parts kit came from, done to allow clearance for the red dot they had mounted on it. Also note the handguard has two holes in it from where a light switch was mounted. This will come with the original box, bag, 2-30 round magazines, books and paperwork. This will also come with the original numbers matching bolt carrier as well. The owner will need to put in a full auto carrier if intended to run as a host. Will transfer to your FFL as a pistol then it can be SBR’d or left as is until your sear is installed. Asking $10k shipped
  6. It’s easier to get new prints done than getting your form bounced back.
  7. Learned something new but lets be honest tho-the time it takes ot file a Form 5 then efile a Form 3.....its damn near the same as a paper form 3. Since Form 4 efile transfers are only for SOT's at this point, it makes no sense for someone to do the paperwork as in individual just to have to file a paper form to send an item back out again.
  8. If you have an eform account active-anything you purchase after that date will automatically be on said account, but anything you had previous to the activation of said account, it will not show. Case in point: I had a couple personal MG's before I became an SOT, none of them showed up on the eforms account when I set it up, so they all had to go out on paper when I sold them. Now anything that comes in is automatically logged to my account.
  9. As a dealer, I'l say this-If someone wants to do that these days the transfer fee is going to be $500 or more....sorry but the dealer is taking on more risk and little reward for something like that. Taking up storage space, liablity, and more paperwork just so someone can get something faster. Sorry to sound like a money grubbling dick, but thats the reality of things in my eyes.....its not worth the headache unless its made to be worth it.
  10. It doesn't work like that. Just because you own NFA and then setup an account, your items don't automatically get added to said account. Items in hand do not autopopulate into your eforms account upon creation, only new items after it has been setup. At this point I believe the Form 4 option is only working for SOT's.
  11. I know the rules and was talking to one of our mutual friends yesterday. He explained some of the process that was used by ATF. TBH that whole process terrifies me as to how ATF is changing things with no documentation from ATF to back it up, when does the buck stop and the Form 4 get rejected and someone is holding the bag.
  12. In your case you are correct that you only need one stamp given what it is you have.....now that being said, if you had an HK sear and 2 hosts with you, then you better not have a stock on both as then you have an SBR on your hands. Same can be said for an Uzi with a registered bolt....if the Uzi host has a folding stock on it, TECHNICALLY as soon as you take the bolt out it becomes an SBR, even though there is a registered bolt laying there for it. The range where I am a trustee at is very NFA friendly, as long as you arent an idiot. That being said-we have asked to see NFA paperwork on a regular basis as we have had issues with someone (not known in the clubs NFA community) show up with an illegal MG and thought he was king of the world....he was a "king" alright......so it is not required to show your NFA paperwork, but its also a good idea to comply as there are reasons for it. Now to the point that someone didn't understand the regulations on it, and wanted to argue, you should go over their head to the top and explain the rules to said person. In the end-if you are using someone elses range/property to shoot, you get to play by their rules, if you don't like them, you are free to go somewhere else.
  13. Also let’s face it…at the price it’s posted at….it won’t be selling anytime soon
  14. He PM'd me saying they were all sold, but he has yet to post that on here or UziTalk so people know.
  15. Everyone is an internet expert....but the receiver doesn't lie.....1984 and it was made in Germany.....so it was imported in 1984 or 1985.....which means its a PRE SAMPLE.....arguement could be made that it could be a Post Sample depending on when it was imported. IIRC this gun and another one were for sale on here and they were listed as Pre Sample. I remember the SO inventory number marked on the rail lug. I don't understand why people want to play fast and loose with stuff like this.
  16. Just that-it was registered on a Form 2. Odds are it was a live gun with no paperwork and someone “manufactured” it so it would become a transferable. I’ve also seen that with pre sample guns as well being listed the same way.
  17. Just logged in to see if it’s working and it is. Love how they are worried about filing form 2’s asap but they shut down the site with no warning for a week. “I’m from the Gov’t and I’m here to help”
  18. Here’s the 6061 aluminum option https://youtu.be/syJwSc3xQ-U?si=CqK7DnzQ9-YDZ--Y
  19. Crazy the website is still down but I just got an approval notification. It amazes me how people have been losing their minds over eforms having issues but no one seems to be talking about the fact the site has been down for nearly a week now…..
  20. Made a new Uzi suppressor today, to compliment the MKII STEN suppressor. This is a sealed 304 stainless unit and replaced the barrel nut while swallowing the barrel. Its a little heavy, but when on the gun, you don’t notice the weight at all.
  21. I went to file an eForm 3 to a dealer just now and noticed that the eForm system is still down, its been down for 3 days now.....no wonder they were getting so many approvals, now they have to "fix" the website and get that under contol LOL
