Yes. Been calling, emailing, and messaging off the GB system. They sent me a message on here asking for a phone number. Hard to not point out that I’ve left my number multiple times, emailed it to them, and it shows in the gun broker invoice system. Still waiting.

    Bummer.

Here's what they posted on Facebook on March 24th. Not an excuse for poor communication, but it might explain part of the problem.

    Dear Customers,

Contrary to rumors flying around, we're still here! We recently changed our website domain from www.tornado-technologies.com to www.tornadotechnologies.com . This transition also involved the unveiling of a new website with an online payment for services, and some enhanced features for us to better track service work, based on customer feedback.

Unfortunately our hosting company for the old site completely hosed the DNS redirect. That resulted in our website coming up as non-existent for a number of days. To complicate matters even more, when we updated our Google business profile, Google's bots detected the website address change as fraud and suspended our account and blacklisted us on Google. This resulted in no search results for us more recent than about 2012!

In addition, an extremely large volume of customers trying to call us by phone or email us during this time creating a backlog. We are working our way through these messages, but it will take some time, so please be patient.

The DNS redirect issue was finally resolved thanks to our web guy (thanks Ventsi!) and we're now back online, but with limited search exposure. Google search-ability should improve with time as Google's spiders run through the site.

  2. Hey, guys, I'm looking to buy the following MK760 parts:

    • Sear
    • Trigger Bar
    • Receiver End Cap
    • Recoil Spring Guide

I'm hoping to find parts that are in very good to New Old Stock condition.

If you are interested in selling to me, let me know what you have and the price.

The best way to get in touch with me is through the PM system.

    -K

ETA: Found some parts, but still need a Recoil Spring Guide.

Yes, they don't always respond and if they do, you may get the letter 2 years later.

    Incompetent bastards.

I like to file FOIA requests on all of my machine guns, so I know when they were manufactured/registered. I am going on three years for my latest request.

BATFE apparently stands for Bastards Always Take Forever (without) Exception.

  4. The M1/M2 Carbine is almost unique in that it does not require any machining in order to be converted to full auto. Fully automatic function is accomplished by the addition of seven parts and the modification/substitution of three parts.

The seven deadly parts, which constitute a machine gun conversion kit when they are combined, are:

    • Selector
    • Selector spring
    • Trip lever
    • Hammer
    • Disconnector
    • Disconnector spring
    • Disconnector plunger

The parts that need to be modified/substituted are:

    • Stock
    • Trigger housing
    • Sear

The three parts that do not need to be modified/substituted can be used on an M1 Carbine, so they are okay, depending on your individual state laws.

I think the best way for an 07/02 to register a post sample M2 Carbine would be to acquire and register a trip lever or selector. Once the registration was done, the other M2 specific parts could be acquired, and you would not be in possession of an unregistered machine gun at any time. Better to be safe and legal than sorry.

Just the opinion of a layman who is not an 07/02 or a legal professional.

ETA: An "M2" marked receiver is also considered a machine gun at all times, regardless of if it has the M2 specific parts or not.

  5. @Rebel Rifle Ordnance LLCGunBroker locked me out once because there were two accounts associated with our IP address - one of them was mine, one of them was my father's. To their credit, they unlocked my account fairly quickly once I explained the situation to them.

Your action/comment must have been pretty epic for them to lock you out.

Hahahahaha!  What do you think a serial number is going to do? Do you seriously expect that to stop one single crime? I guess you listen to too much "scary ghost gun" propaganda to have clear thoughts on this

It's all feel-good bullshit. People have to have something to blame for all their life's ills.

Rage at the system, rage at the players, but don't rage at an inanimate object that simply did what it was willed to do.

  7. I am interested in acquiring a transferable SWD Lightning Link.

Ideally, I'd like a Link that will transfer in on a Form 3, but I am open to one coming in on a Form 4, depending on the purchase terms.

I have cash in hand. The best way to get in touch with me is via the Sturmgewehr PM system.

warning:  mg acquisition is a sickness and addiction.

Ain't that the truth. A guy won't just stop with one.

    .....

@Joe Hardin, welcome to the exciting world of full auto. Best of luck in your search for a registered machinegun.

On an unrelated note, I see you list Holbrook, AZ as your area of operations. Small world. My mother's family lived there in the late 60's and early 70's before heading up to Montana.

I have several NFA 223 Polytech's from SWD back in the day.. Need a 7.62x39 barrel as they all work with 7.62x39 mags.   I need a qualified C2 to rebarrel these to  7.62x39.

They are all NFA guns.. Actually I have several.  SWD sold them at 700 each. I jumped on them and stocked them away for a rainy day-- It is raining now.

The unusual thing is the 7.62x39 mags fit fine.

It's been a long while, and I cannot remember where I read it, but I vaguely remember reading about a company called Piece of History Firearms that does (or did) caliber conversions. I think the gentleman's name might have been Mario.

It's been several years since, so the details are kind of fuzzy.

In a market like this, why would you do that? There's no reason for a buyer to take less money now than the MG would be worth 6-12 months from now for the disincentive to accept 50% down.

Why not? He met my price and then some.

I'm just hoping the the transfer clears quickly so I have room in my safe for something else. :D
