Aaron in Mohnton Pa
A really neat piece that was gifted to me recently by a friend.... This is an original Wooden Shipping Crate for the M60. To date, I have not seen photos of an actual shipping crate making this pretty cool. The gentleman who owned it got it directly from Saco Defense when they shut down in the 1990s. This specific crate was shipped Toole Army Deport and then to 1st BN 127th Armor out of Buffalo NY.... Inside the wood crate is the cardboard shipping box which has the packaging inside that holds the M60, spare barrel, and tool kit in place. The box that was inside this crate is marked "1989 Reliability Test - M60 S/N 224048" ... I suspect the guys at Saco went throught his gun with a fine tooth comb before sending it out for these trials. Just sharing photos and information Aaron - Mohnton, Pa Sales@BeltFeds.Com Edited April 28 by Aaron in Mohnton Pa
