MP5
How is this done? What's the process? Is it just a letter to ATF/NFA Division, with a date for letting the SOT go? Anyone have a template of this or willing to relate their experience? If it's just a letter that is used, would this be included as an attachment with the first eForm "no law letter" transfer? I'm wondering if I can sort of "pre-advertise" and/or "pre-sell" my Post-86's as No Law Letter guns, then when it is time to start the first eForms transfer, include my official notification of the date of discontinuing my SOT with that electronic submission. And just to confirm: Is the timeframe 90 days? And does that timeframe run from the date of original notification to ATF up to the last transfer's submission, or till the final approval of the last transfer?
