  1. I have acquired a Mac 11a1. I am looking to modify to slow the rate of fire. I currently have a Lage on order to accept the suomi drums and shoot in 9mm. I was searching and found Practical Solutions, they have a slow fire .380, I was going to reach out to them tomorrow. I was a little confused. Will it run .380 ammo? It seems to promote running 9mm out of the m11a1. Anyone use their system? Thanks, Chad
  2. This could get interesting for Fedex in Texas. We just passed a law that the State of Texas will not do business with companies that discriminate against the firearm or ammo industries. I wonder how much shipping of goods through Fedex is done by the State of Texas Government?
  3. I am looking for a factory correct SP1 carbine stock. The Colt is from 1971 (Correction Serial number dates to 1978) Chad
  4. Looking to purchase 10-15 L2A3 Sterling SMG Magazines. Also, looking for parts... Springs, Barrels, Stocks, etc... Thanks, Chad
  5. Looking for a full auto. I modified the post. Thanks, Chad
  6. Looking to acquire a full auto 1919a4. This will be my first Belt Fed, so would like to purchase with extras…. Let me know what you have and price. Thanks, Chad
  7. Buy with confidence. Dan shipped me my mags quickly and everything was as dedcribed. Great seller on the board. CL
  8. Bruce, Per our conversation this morning. I will take the Reising and the Sten. Thanks, Chad
  9. I know the YO Ranch (Mt. Home, Tx.) use to have a shoot. Not sure how big?
  10. Thank you for the insight. I guess that was the point of my post. I have only seen it running well on Youtube.... Thanks again for letting me know some of the issues you have experienced with the MCR. Chad
  11. I am a couple months in on my paperwork filed for my Colt SP1 conversion MG. I have been gathering information on the Ares Defense Shrike (now FightLite MCR. I watch a lot of videos, it seems to run well. What issues have users seen? Parts breaking? What extra parts should I have available? Ammo? Thanks in advance for your knowledge. Trying to navigate this MG world without making financial mistakes is difficult to say the least. Look forward to hearing about the good and the bad. Thanks, Chad
  12. I had a question reguarding H&K Converted G3. I am interested in the gun, but would want to have it modified to a H&K 51 type/ length gun. Is this possible? (scratch that question.) Is it legal? If so, any reccomendations on a gunsmith? Thanks, Chad
  13. I purchased my first MG 8 years ago . I was also concerned about sending large sums of money to someone I did not really know and then to hopefully have the gun shipped to my dealer. The gentlemen that I purchased from understood it was my first NFA purchase and had references, he was also very good about communicating through the process. Form 4 to dealer is running 3-4 months. If the seller is open to the idea, you could have an escrow account set up through an attorney (at your expense.). Money changing hands after your dealer receives the gun. Side note: I just picked up my S&W 76 ( 6 months 7 days) from time of cashed check. So you might be pushing your wait time. I think it is also important to make sure that the other people on the trust/ or spouse know the item is being sold. If there is a spouse or heir, I think it is important that they know about the transfer, in case of death of the person making the transfer. I would shy away from trying to circumvent any of the “normal” transfer processes that have existed for some time. I must admit I am glad I do not have an M16 or M60 for sale…. Good luck in your search!
  14. This is a factory M2 Stamped (not over stamp) C&R gun (per the dealer.) Sorry I was not clear, when I refer to an M2 it does not mean an overstamp. I have not seen the gun, but that is how he described the gun. I was hoping to be able to find some information before I purchase the books. If I do not buy the gun, sounds like that is the best route to get learned up on the M2. Thanks, Chad
  15. I have the opportunity to purchase an Inland M2. My dealer will be receiving the gun soon. Is it true that Inland was the only manufacturer of "Factory M2s" I have done a lot of research, but struggling to find that specific information. If so, does that make them more valuable? How well are they made? The one thing I did find is that the Inland guns seem to come at the end of WWII, so mainly used in Korea and Vietnam. Is there data on shipment of these guns? Thanks, Chad
  16. Thanks for the insight... My purchase of the S&W 76 included the book, so I should have it soon. I purchased a SP1 Colt Conversion a couple of weeks ago. Actually ran across the Hahn insert and a bunch of mags yesterday on the parts forum that I bought. Hope to see how that cones together 9-10 months from now, Never say never, but I am probably going to stay away from the HK sears. I tend to like the older subguns. I spent the last 6-7 years collecting very nice Colt SAAs, so I am transitioning some of my collection into MGs. Thanks again for your feedback, makes me want to look harder for a Swedish K. I am sure I will pick up a Sten along the way.
  17. I am looking forward to getting my S&W 76 stamp soon. I am about 7 months in on the wait. I know the S&W 76 was copied from the Swedish K. Is there that much difference, or is it just that it is iconic. I know my 76 has had all of the smith work done to it to make it reliable, so I am going to enjoy shooting. If I go the swedish k route, is it the same as a Sten (modern tube) with a parts kit, or are the OEM all the way. Thanks, Chad
  18. Wanting to know what adapter recommended to run 9mm . I just purchased a 1978 Colt SP1 (select fire conversion 1984.) I have a colt 9mm factory mg upper. I have seen several adapters, just want to make sure it will support full auto. I also have colt factory 9mm mags. Thanks in advance for the help! Bwanalewis
