  1. I have for sale a very rare complete USGI new and unused M240L kit. These were NIB, I took them out for pictures. They were taken directly off the assembly line, from what I was told. Gun not included, of course. It's the kit, NOT THE GUN. The kit is comprised of: 1. standard length pencil barrel with skeletonized carrying handle; 2. The L bipod; 3. The 240L collapsible buttstock (very hard to find); 4. The L heat shield; 5. The complete trigger assembly. Price is $4500, shipping included, for the complete kit. I have no I idea what these kits are worth. I was advised to add small margin onto what I paid, as compensation for my time (actually, my assistants time). My overzealous assistant did a very good job of tracking down an extra kit that I did not need. If you want to buy this kit, and you've sold me a machine gun in the past, PM me and I'll sell it to you with a discount. Thanks. MGT
  2. Wow, I'm really sad. These Leopard tanks are just so...sexy. And at $125,000 they're a bargain.
  3. I'll ask around to see if there is any realistic way for a urban guy like me to haul one of these around. Without the ability to move it around, it would do me no good. I would absolutely love to have one of these at a shoot. You already know what MG I would mount on it. Lol
  4. Aaron, How does one transport these tanks from one site to another? Would a Ford F-150 be able to pull one of these? I am really tempted. I don't have enough land to drive on, but I have storage space and would take it to shoots. Also, are the shells reloadable? What do the shells use as propellant? Are the shells just giant versions of firearms cartridges?
  5. I agree with Johnson. The sear is not relevant here. It is a registered reciever gun.
  6. I would like a batch. Please PM me if you have any left.
  7. Buying these guns without proof of provenance is crazy.
  8. Small world, Aaron. Very nice 249 in one of the pics. The M60E6 does an excellent job of reducing recoil. I have a female friend who is 5'3 or so and she can shoot the E6 from the shoulder.
  9. The M60E6 is a heck of a lot of fun and very cool looking. It's good to see the M60 brought into the 21st century.
  10. RR AR as first machine gun is the way to go, under your stipulations. You can practically have a new MG by wrapping uppers. And you can abuse the hell out of the gun, since the upper is replaceable. Just be careful if kabooms. MP5 is good as first MG, too. They're absolutely awesome. More finicky than the AR platform, but very cool. For about $2500-$5000 more than your budget you can get a RR MP5, although there are some significant downsides to a RR MP5, they're still veryfun and awesome. I can't decide which one I like better: the MP5 or the M16/AR.
  11. I finally went to my first machine gun shoot this past Sunday. It was a private invite shoot held by some members of another forum. Everyone was very cool. I brought some assault rifles (I love that term lol), subguns, and belt feds. It was a small shoot, but lots of fun. If I knew how to post pics on this forum, I'd post them. For some reason, spraying and praying into a creek is very satisfying! Splashes! A very generous fella threw large containers of floating tannerite into the creek. With a scoped F/A AR, it was too easy; one burst is all it took. On another container of tannerite, I unloaded a 100 round belt into the area of the tannerite and eventually got the explosion near the 1/3 point of the belt. Seeing as how generous the gentleman was, I gave him a belt on my M60E6 to shoot a container of his tannerite, as he had never shot an M60. He managed to spray all around the container of tannerite, but missed the tannerite. So I backed him up with my MP5 that I had ready. Bad decision on my part because 9mm apparently doesn't have enough to detonate the tannerite. I hit the container, but only a cloud of black powder surfaced in the water. The tannerite got away, but the gentleman had the unmustable full auto grin. Being around like minded and friendly folks who enjoy good food, machine guns, good conversation, the smell of gun powder, and the sound of rat-a-tat-tat-tat, made for a super enjoyable day.
  12. I wish there were some MG shoots in central Texas. Texas Gun Fest has a full auto Friday, but it's not the same. And they don't allow 308.
  13. I like the sturm board a lot. I've purchased machine guns off this board, even though it was really hard sometimes, as my WTB posts were constantly taken down on the old board. This board is definitely for the more hardcore/serious shooters and collectors.
  14. K Neilson, Maybe be you guys are unaware of the legalities of making such items. I don't assume malicious intent, as I know a manufacturer who clearly does not understand all of the laws on such an issue. But please consult with an NFA lawyer and clarify the legalities on your website or take the item off your website. Using your host (MK46, etc) with a registered transferable sear creates a post sample. The owner would be walking around with an illegal and unregistered MG, unless the owner has the proper 02/07 FFL. But what 02/07 in their right mind uses a registered sear to create a post sample? This reminds me of the guys who tried to slap a MAC trigger on an MK46 and later a SCAR17 and tried to sell the 'legal' F/A MK46 for $200,000. Lol. Or the frankensear (the unregistered RDIAS that had a broken RLL welded onto it, and posted on GB for half a day before it was taken down)...reminds me of that too. Please consult an NFA lawyer ASAP for your own good, and for the good of any unwitting buyer.
  15. Consider that 1/3 of the US population owns guns, and there are 320,000,000 people in the US (all wiki derived numbers). Also, by some estimates, about half of all the transferables are owned by government, museums, or large businesses that would never circulate the guns to the general population. That means about 100,000,000 gun owners are sharing 100,000 transferable MGs. Ouch.
  16. RMA, thanks for the info. I do notice that the A1 doesn't jam at all. Maybe I'll just stick with the A1.
  17. I'm pretty sure that AUG from AV guns is just an old ad that they haven't updated. Thats my AUG. If you click on their inventory, the AUG isn't there in their inventory. I don't take the AUG out much, as I enjoy shooting my M16s, but the AUG is a very enjoyable gun to shoot when I do take it out. I've been meaning to move the sear pack to a new A3, but Pete Athens always seems to be out of them. Good luck on your search. You will enjoy the AUG.
  18. SBSs and SBRs, like silencers, are practically worthless when used. There are rare exceptions, of course, such as a HK94 built MP5 SBR host or a genuine MP5SD silencer. If if you check on GB, you will see that SBSs and SBRs all have exactly zero bids. As DamCv62 pointed out, the tax stamp costs and the associated wait period are the culprits that negatively affect demand. If you really want to sell it, I would remove the barrel, get a new barrel, and remove the shotgun from the NFA registry. You'll lose money as a result of having to buy the new barrel, and you won't get your tax back, but the alternative is that your SBS is practically worth zero right now.
  19. I am looking to buy a steel bodied RDIAS. if you have one for sale, and for a reasonable price, please send me an email or PM. I will insist on seeing this sear in person first. We can arrange for payment and to have a third party dealer hold the sear pending form 3 if it is out of state. MGT
