I noticed mentioned above about the MOD 639 that only some are transferable. Why would only some be transferable?
They are domestic built and pre 86 that would mean all should be transferable, of the original 100 or so. I can show you one numbered under 15 but I won't give the exact S/N number. The selector switch on it has paint on the wording SAFE (green), SEMI (yellow), and AUTO (red). The Colt Firearms Division Colt Industries Hartford Conn. USA (blue). I find it odd someone would have painted the letters. Did some early models have the paint in the letters of them?
