    I was told that the machining cost compared to building other types of firearms has a lot to do with it. They build a cheaper type of gun and sell it for less money to more people makes them more money.

    Mine must be early because the buffer is in the bolt carrier but I have also got the rubber buffer in the rear of stock. Have not give any problems yet??

    This is a custom barrel that is just over 6 1/2 inches long. Threaded 9/16x24. Has a gas block and tube with it. I just took it off a upper and replaced it with 10 1/2 barrel. Have shot this short barrel many times. Inside rifling looks new. 1 in 8 twist. 60.00 shipped.
