valleyfirearms
I recently purchased a few Mac 10’s. One of them is a sac chambered in 45. It has the wire stock attachment welded to the receiver. There are no arms on the tab. Is this something that was done by RPB/Cobray? And why? It seems useless. valleyfirearms
Looks like it was used for a fixed wood stock
KickStand
It looks like a factory Semi Auto Carbine (SAC). There was likely a solid wood stock that attached to that plate.
CobrayCollector87
Close up of welded hinge/bracket for the wood stock Pic of deluxe carbine with wood stock This was one of the RPB M10 SAC “deluxe” carbines. The SAC M10 carbines came with the stocks welded in the fixed position. The “standard” model featured a wire stock that was welded in the open position. The deluxe model had wooden furniture and the stock was also welded in place. Edited July 11, 2022 by CobrayCollector87
