Mac 10 .45 Configuration Question

Recommended Posts

I recently purchased a few Mac 10’s. One of them is a sac chambered in 45. It has the wire stock attachment welded to the receiver. There are no arms on the tab. Is this something that was done by RPB/Cobray? And why? It seems useless.

This was one of the RPB M10 SAC “deluxe” carbines.  The SAC M10 carbines came with the stocks welded in the fixed position.  The “standard” model featured a wire stock that was welded in the open position.  The deluxe model had wooden furniture and the stock was also welded in place.
