wcbrowning
Without anything in the picture to show relative size, I'd say they're M13 links, which are a NATO standard 7.62mm link. A few examples of guns which use them would be the M60, MAG-58 / M240, HK21E. If they're actually smaller than I'm assuming they are, then they're probably M27 links, which are NATO standard for 5.56mm, and some guns that use them would be the MINIMI / M249, HK23E, Negev. RON IN PA
7.62 nato blanks were installed,, but the rim tab looked like ww2 German, not std US type I'm used to seeing.
mike todd
RON, you will find several variations of the tab, but they are the nato link of type M-13. I am looking for the south African Vickers link that looks like this. however the "tab" is rotated 90 deg. a ton of linked ammo came in country and not many use them . if you run across any, I will pay .20 ea cheers mike

RON IN PA
whats the modification on the links to use in the 1919.?,, clip off the TAB.?
johnsonlmg41
You don't modify the links at all, the feed parts and bolt were modified by the Canadians to use the links as is since they are a nato standard. M13 linked ammo is fairly common vs. browning links which no one else used except countries we gave guns to. Not many of those guns in the US however. RON IN PA
SO,, The links I have pictured will work-unmodified in my unmodified 1919 BMG
johnsonlmg41
No not at all, unless your gun was modified by the Canadians. Give them away to someone who can use them. If you have thousands they may be worth something?
