msh441 Posted March 16 Report Share Posted March 16 I’m building a Mk46. Thinking way ahead, and curious as to what would be on the shopping list to convert a 5.56 Mk46 into a 7.62 Mk48. Right now, my list looks like this (but if I will edit/update as I learn more). Any additional input/insight is greatly appreciated. Note: Items with a ‘?’ indicate my assumption there might be some action length reasons these might require 7.62 parts, but I’m not sure. -Mk48 top cover (or just internals?) -Feed tray -MK48 Bolt -Mk48 Bolt Slide? -Op Rod (or just the spring?) -Barrel -Ejector? -Charging handle?
