Rebel Rifle Ordnance LLC
I recently acquired a transferable REWAT Inland M1 Carbine. I'm looking for someone to either weld the missing metal on the receiver or alternatively cut and weld a new front part of the receiver (see receiver part that Sarco sells). It functions fine but I'd like to restore it to better condition. If you know anyone capable of doing this, please let me know! Thanks in advance. He's a year out but if I do send it to him, my M1 will be worth a few thousand more when I get it back! Waiting for Lewman Arms to get back with me after he speaks with his welder. I did discover from Mr. Andrewski that cutting and welding a new front end of the receiver is a no go!

Was he able to expand on the reason? Is it a legal issue or alignment/metallurgy issue?

In other words it's like having open heart surgery when a less invasive procedure could fix the problem.
