- Imperial German Pickelhaube Fireman’s Helmet - $380

 

This is a very fine example of a WW1 era fireman’s (feuerwehr) pickelhaube helmet. The condition is better than most seen with only minor crazing to the surface of the leather in some spots. The liner is nice and supple and is in great shape. The fittings are in excellent shape with the front crest bearing a bold “HS” within a shield. The chin strap is nice and supple as well. This piece displays extremely well and would be at home in any WW1 era collection. Detailed photos are linked below.

- Belgian M1926 Helmet - $300

 

This is a uncommonly nice example of a M1926 Adrian style Belgian helmet. The shell is in great shape with a nice even olive trap finish throughout. The liner is both present and complete but has become brittle with age. The chin strap has likewise become brittle over time and has separated as shown. The helmet is marked with soldier’s names in two separate locations as pictured. The lions face crest on the front of the shell is extremely attractive making for a beautiful piece. Cold War Era West German Mess Kits (2) - $35 ea

 

These are both nice, complete, examples of cold war era West German mess kits. Each includes an aluminum canteen, mess tin, and canteen cup. They each show signs of use but would make for excellent additions to any collection for either display or use. Detailed photos are linked below. Kit with cross hatched clasp is gone.
