Void_saltz
Hello. I'm gonna be in the market for an HK93. However, I would ideally like a 5.56 rifle suited for all grains versus a few. I've seen most are 1:12 and some in 1:7. I've read the Saco is a highly sought after import but don't know much else about this model. andrew1182
If you're wanting the 1:7 I believe those were the last guns in the country. 88-89 if memory serves correctly. The barrel will be marked 178 near the trunion and if I'm not mistaken, the serial numbers have a 42-XXXX prefix. Going off memory, so you may want to double check me. andrew1182
The saco guns were the earliest imports and came in the smallest numbers. Saco guns, in my experience, are slightly less desirable than the later 1:7 twist guns, but that's a matter of opinion.
AGG
Barrels (1974-1982/1:12; 1987-1989/1:7 or 1:12). I can verify with the barrel markings. Tony

I'd like a HK93 but I didn't know the 1:7 models are that rare.
