Gun&KnifeCountry Posted July 14, 2022 Report Share Posted July 14, 2022 I have recently inherited a Armalite Sterling AR180. I am trying to find out more about it. It has a XP serial number prefix. Does anyone know when it was made or if it's a special one with that serial number prefix? It has a super low serial number as well. Xp00003 is the serial number. Thanks in advance. AGG Posted July 14, 2022 Report Share Posted July 14, 2022 I am aware of this Sterling manufacturing: AE XP 1 (experimental model; 3 for factory testing; fixed stock) - left receiver (serial number- electro-stenciled) Can you post clear pictures of the receiver and barrel markings?
