History
When Hatton Industries made the Commando it was to be an open bolt semi. They (the BATF) changed the law in '82 to outlaw OB semi's as the disconnector could be snapped off, or ground down to allow it to go Full auto.
Cocaine Cowboys also put higher rate springs in OB semis that would go Full with the right ammo...
Two 115 gr. + one 158 Sampson = three round burst
It (the recoil spring) wouldn't allow the bolt on the first two round burst to catch the sear, but on the third round it would reach it, and stop.
A cop could check the gun and it appeared normal.
So Hatton cut their loses, and sold the unfinished guns to Cobray who turned them into SMG's.
420 units to be exact. These are one of the rarest M10s on the market!!!!
