I'm sick and tired of this bull$h!t.
Oops won't (knowingly) ship machineguns, FedUp barely ships anything, and the Pissy Service won't let a non-FFL like me ship a "concealable" firearm.
They just keep backing us into a corner, guys.
I looked at some of his work. Stunning. The man was truly an artist.
Requiescat in pace.
I recently purchased a S&W 76 from Tom Busey on this board.
There isn't much to say other than that Tom is a fantastic guy to deal with.
It was a great experience from start to finish. Tom provided great communication, quick eform filing, fast shipping, and an honest assessment of firearm condition. I couldn't be happier.
Best of luck in your future endeavors, Tom.

Agree looks like he has passed.
Anyone have any thoughts on if it worth going to the estate for $450? I’m thinking probably not!
That's your call.
If it were me, I'd try to talk with Jim and see if you can get something worked out. Maybe he'll tell you he wasn't the one who made the deal and to go to hell. Maybe he'll make it right.
If I was in your shoes, I'd at least make 'em earn that $450.
Whatever else happens, I hope you get satisfaction. Even if it's just spiritual.

Gentlemen,
When I saw that email address, some alarms went off.
There was a fairly big brouhaha on FalFiles over some chap who went by the handle of RiversideSports. I don't think I ever got twisted with the guy, but plenty of other guys did.
I have no dog in this fight. I'll let everybody come to their own conclusion.

According to one guy on the Files, Charles (who is deceased), would sometimes go by his father's name (Jim). If that's true, maybe Charles is the one who sold OP the barrels? Not much OP can do except go after the estate.

Man, I dig that setup.

Paying promptly for an item purchased of one's own free will? What will they think of next?
In all seriousness, we should always remember that gun boards are a subset of society at large. It stands to reason that if society at large has a significant number of dirtbags, we will start to see more of them here, too. That said, gun people are still the best people.
Bad sellers get hauled off to the woodshed and beaten. It's only fair that bad buyers suffer the same fate.
I have zero personal experience with HK sears, but I can tell you that I do not particularly like the looks of the Ciener sear.

Thanks
Looking at pictures 1, 2, & 3, it appears that the blocking bar was removed. That is the main thing to look for in a RR Uzi. The barrel restrictor ring is actually kind of a nice feature IMO.

Thank you to everyone who provided offers! With regards-Mat
Fantastic.
The Sten is a great way to start a collection of transferables.

I wouldn’t mind getting one even if it costed more in the long run to have it built. I just want to put my foot in the door with both guns (a nice Reising and a sten) for no more than 17k.
I wouldn't bother with a virgin tube unless you get a great deal and have a good quality parts kit lined up. It's a pretty small sample size, but I have never seen a bad Sten tube.
I think you should be able to do both a Reising and a Sten for $17k.
Do you have any transferables (or Pre-May Samples) that you would be willing to trade?
-Kristopher
ETA: I just remembered you mentioned a Pre-May Madsen. There is a guy on here on Sturm who might be willing to trade you a Sten or Reising for it.
ETA 2: damcv62 might be the guy you want to talk to.

If I didn't have a S&W 76 coming in, I'd have snapped that puppy up.
My MK760 has been a fantastic shooter.
If it were me.....
I'd knock down the Reising budget and pick up a Sten. When the Sten was sitting in NFA jail, I'd work on the Reising. If for some reason you could only ever have one or the other, I think the Sten is hands down the better one to have.
That's just me.
Glad to see a young guy getting into the game.
5 hours ago, Dean said:Will the kit work in one of the chiappa 9mm knockoffs?
According to what I've read online, the answer is no. There are too many differences between the two models.
23 hours ago, TKS said:Was this originally made as an M1 or has it been converted to a M2?
Going by the markings, this is a factory M2.
Plainfield manufactured a semi-auto M1, a select-fire M2, and they also had a conversion kit for a time.

I can tell you that it's a beautiful gun.
I got some pics about a month ago and looked hard at it, but I had funds tied up elsewhere. It would be a fine addition to any collection.

I'll take S&W 76 #2 @ $14k. PM incoming.
If it came with just the seven deadly pieces, you'll need a couple more items:
I think that's it.
Not my video. All credit goes to ADCOSteve.
ETA: Forgot the most important part: congrats on the M2. I loved my first one so much, I bought a second one.
I hope to be sending mine to John Andrewski after I finish collecting all the spare parts I need.
PM me if you need contact info. I don't like giving out information openly on the Internet, as it can lead to harassment from spammers and scammers.
Bump.
Still looking for a recoil spring guide.
