If there was some way to implement it, what I would like to see is a simple pay per ad option available to all commercial ranks. It is hard to predict a year in advance how many ads one might wish to post. Example - If you have a Captain account, currently you would pay $25 / year which gives you access to the site, plus 5 ads at a net cost of $5 each per year. If you want to post more than your included 5 ads, you can pay for each additional ad as placed at your account level established rate of $5 each. If your rank was 3 Star General, then for your $200 you get the extra perks that come with that plus your 160 ads / year cost you $1.25 each. Once you have used up your 160 ads, then you can continue to pay $1.25 / ad through the rest of your subscription time, renewing, upgrading or downgrading whatever account you have established at the 1 year point based on how the year went for you. This would allow a seller to put more ads up when they have more items to sell at some point during the year, tapering off when they have fewer items to offer. Of course if the software system doesn't offer any way of monitoring that, then it would become too complicated for you gentlemen to keep track of payments and extra ads posted. If the software won't work this way, you might consider an honor system for the additional ads on a trial basis to see how well that is adhered to. You could always cut it off if people abuse it.
