The seller of an item I’m purchasing submitted a paper form 4 transferring to a SOT which was received by the NFA Branch on Feb 12, approved on March 26 and received back by mail on April 10th. Hopefully my e-form 4 will come back even sooner!

The ammo imported from Eritrea seems to be real nice…if I could post photos I would. The wooden crates are stenciled “Eritrea” on top and “For Submachine Gun Only” on the sides. Original country of origin is Israel, produced by IMI in the 1960’s.

I’m waiting on a seller’s paper Form 4 transferring to my dealer for about 6 weeks. I was hoping that a transfer to a dealer, even on a paper Form 4, wouldn’t take too long. My dealer uses eforms so hopefully once he gets it it can be transferred to me in a reasonable amount of time.

Tommboy is right on target. I will add that some manufacturers are more scare than others and the early slab side magazines command a little more than the reinforced versions.

I'm curious about my situation. I've purchased an NFA item from an out of state seller. Seller submitted a paper Form 4 to the NFA Branch transferring said item to an FFL/SOT in my home state. It's been about 8 weeks and nothing yet. I was under the impression that since this was is being transferred to dealer it wouldn't take too long for approval. My SOT will efile a Form 4 on my behalf once he gets the item in his books. I'm very pleased to learn that efiles Form 4 are being approved lightning fast...but just waiting on the transfer to my dealer.
