Hi Everyone,
have a special request:
My Dad was a helicopter pilot in Nam (Chinook - 1st Air Cav) and carried a Swedish K behind his seat. He's 76 and with health issues I don't know how long he has left. I heard stories as a kid of how compact and simple and reliable they were, and stories of downed choppers and staying alive. I'd love to show him the thing that ultimately got him home, for joy or hope or remembrance or something intangible.
I didn't get a kit when they were available and now all I can find is corroded fragments of Port Saids or finished builds WAY out of my price range.
I can trade PPS43/52 kit or Suomi drum mags + cash, at this point I'm asking for a solid from the universe. Anyone have a kit on a shelf they'd pass on for a fair shake?
