As the title says, I desperately need an 8mm Lebel bolt for the 1914 Hotchkiss. Will pay or trade you a complete 7mm bolt for the same.
The sob story:
I was saving up for a 1914 Hotchkiss for awhile (I collect WW1 primarily) and back during the Covid era got “lucky” on a bid with Rock Island Auction. But, as I’ve sadly discovered, the amount of items they sell is not matched by the amount of knowledge they have about guns that aren’t Colts…
In short, got an all matching 8mm Lebel gun with a 7mm Mauser bolt in it. So, she’s been a paperweight for two years while I try and find one of these elusive bolts. I know finding these bolts is a nightmare, and I see several other posts in the past with people in search of the same. Yet, if anyone can help me out, I’d greatly appreciate it. I just want this thing to run and my search finally got me to this forum for a try.
