Beretta PM12S, PM 12 S, Submachine Gun Pre-May Sample

Asking $12,500 plus $175 shipping

The Beretta PM12S, 9 x19 mm select fire (safe, semi, auto) is an example of what can be claimed to be the best open bolt sub-machine gun in the world.  Not only is its super smooth action and controllability superb and a bit shocking when you first shoot it, but also its features are extremely unique and well thought out. This is quality of design and manufacturing of an open bolt sub-machine gun at its highest.

The Beretta PM12S is still in production in various variants since 1959 according to Wiki.  Used extensively by the Italian military, police, and in numerous wars around the world, etc.  The SMG has multiple safeties. A flip switch safety, a grip safety that locks the bolt either forward or rearward. There is also another safety that does not allow the firearm firing pin to hit the primer until the round is fully chambered.

In addition to the rail guided bolt that makes it so smooth, there are windage and elevation adjustable sights with a flip up peep sight for 100m or 200m.  On top of that is a very well designed side folding stock that is not in the way when opened or closed.

Rate of fire is 550 rpm and has push pin disassembly

Firearm comes with three high capacity magazines.

Firearm is in excellent condition.

Firearm is considered a "keeper" since it was imported into the U.S. before 1986 and a class III dealer can keep this machine gun if they give up their license.

Firearm(s) in this ad are possessed by, titled to, and will be shipped by John Norrell Inc.  These are not being brokered and are not third-party sales. Firearm in this ad will be transferred to a class III dealer on an ATF E-form 3.

John Norrell has been a licensed manufacturer and dealer (C-2/C-3) for 35 years and is currently an officer of the U.S. Federal Court appointed in the role as a Special Master administrator to liquidate NFA firearms released directly to us by ATF under court order. All NFA rules apply.

Acceptable payment will be in the form of either a cashier's check or a money order payable to JOHN NORRELL, INC.  Firearm will be shipped when payment clears the bank and the ATF eform transfer has completed.  Should the bank put a hold on funds, the firearm will be held until that hold clears.

Buyer will have 5 days to inspect firearm upon receipt by the FFL holder.  Any issues or questions should be addressed during that time.

This item is listed by, and the website and postings are monitored by Ann Shelnutt of John Norrell, Inc.  When a party offers the full advertised amount, they are automatically the official buyer and any ongoing negotiations or conversations with other parties are no longer relevant.
