Dated 1916 with 4 British .303 drums. original green British field paint is present. No big dents in the box. L Has some patina, (it’s over 100 years old) but it’s not rusted out or anything. A little oil preserves it well. The leather carry strap is still pretty nice and solid as is the latch and hinge and they function correctly. The interior Drum Divider is present and solid. Comes with an original drum loader. The leather holder for the drum loader on the inside the box is torn. Could be replaced if desired. this box is not like most of them when they are found, beat up, rusted out and or converted to someone’s tool box. drums are nice condition. Pins and rotors are excellent.
