Since in my possession, it has NEVER been fired. A ‘vault queen’. The package comes with all-original components, which include the 20” upper, the fixed buttstock, 3 round burst fire control group, buffer spring, etc. No box or accessory pack. The gun is presently ‘dressed’ with a (new) 10.5 upper assembly, collapsible buttstock, full auto fire control group, buffer spring, etc. Also, NEVER fired. Hard to find owner-never-fired examples like this. I have maintained it as an investment piece. The A2 is presently on a Form 4, and located in Northern VA. Interested parties are more than welcome to inspect the ‘package’. If a new owner wants to pickup or pay for the weight, several hundred rounds of M855 green tipped ammo will be included in the package. To sweeten the deal, an EOLAD-1V/ L-3 EOTech 552 combo Laser Pointer/ Holographic sighting system is mounted on the shorty’s Picatinny rail. Basically, you are getting 2 guns in one: dual barrels & capable of either Burst or Full auto fire. And super CQB optics. This definitely is an investment piece, no doubt. To make it shooter would be a shame, IMHO. But whoever owns it controls it. Asking $50k. There aren’t many A2’s available in mint condition such as this Double-Upper-Duet. Plenty of A1’s and converted AR’s to choose from at a lesser price, if you’re looking for a ‘shooter’. If purchased by an out-of-state ‘individual’, I’ll offer to pay the first $200 transfer tax to your Class 3 Dealer. Of course, if the buyer is in Virginia, I believe the transfer can be direct. There are 1000 rounds of PPU M855 in 200 round sealed plastic bags. There are 200 rounds of Federal American Eagle LC headstamp marked XM856 tracers in 20 round boxes. There are over 2600 rounds of mixed WCC and LC headstamped marked M855s. They are in Stripper Clips and Bandoleers. All the ammo is packed in Military Style Gasketed Ammo Cans, with Desiccant Packs. Finding the lowest prices I could find On-Line, It all adds up to about $1800. If the values of the Ammo, the Optics, and the Commando components are deducted from the asking price, the base cost of the 'Factory' 20" gun is in the ballpark of $45k.
