    For sale is a MG42/MG3/M53 picatinny rail mount for installing optics. This is the easiest way to mount a red dot optic or scope without needing to permanently modify an expensive top cover by drilling into it. It was design to mount in front of the rear sight. They have been rust blued. It will come hardware bracket (not shown), screws and instructions to mount the rail. It was designed to fit all shrouds, but there is a chance that if you have a parts kit with a messed up shroud, some minor work may be needed, such as sanding down one side. Note that I did try to design this to avoid any need to do modification by test fitting it on multiple shrouds. It has been test fired on a German MG42 (Mauser-Werke AG), German MG3, Italian MG42/59, and Yugo M53 (mount testing fitted only). Optics used for testing were DCL-110AD and a Holosun 510.     WTS: German WW2 motorcycle sidecar machine gun mount. Appears complete, except for yoke, which is the same as the AA tripod. Elevation mechanism works smoothly. Windage lock lever works, but the slide will have to be worked loose. Surface rust overall, so could use a bead blast and blue. "byf 42" marked, so Mauser made. Rarely seen in any condition.     I want to mount an MG34 onto an MG3 Lafette tripod. I have the TNW adapter block for the barrel shroud latch, but was wondering how to modify the trigger lever to be able to switch between the lower portion of the MG34 trigger and the upper portion to have semi and full capability like the original Lafette 34 has. Has anyone done this and could you describe and maybe even post a photo of how you did it, or does anyone know of someone who makes an adapter for this. Thanks in advance.

    Looking to sell three MG mounts: 1.) MG3 Tripod - for the MG42/M53/MG3/MG74 series. Complete with optics, straps, etc. 2.) Goryunov - for the SG43/SGM series. Complete with shield. 3.) Sokolov - for the M1910 Maxim. Complete with shield. All the mounts rate 95% or better. I think the MG3 may never have been used. All are way better than anything I'm seeing listed commercially these days. I want to unload all three at Knob Creek in a couple weeks ONLY. I will not ship any of them.     I will ship this, but would have to charge actual shipping which would probably be ~$100. I would prefer a FTF in the Sarasota/Bradenton/Venice/Port Charlotte areas in FL. This is a good condition MG3 ground mount tripod that, like most German military items, is a functional work of engineering art. It will work with many beltfed MGs including the 1919 with an adapter. There isn't anything on the tripod that you can't adjust, there is even an integrated bubble level in one of the legs. All the adjustments work as intended, the bubble level works, traverse and elevation work unbelievably smooth, trigger actuator works. This one even comes w/ the original optic and optic container (which fits onto the tripod in both deployed and travel configuration). The carry straps are a bit ratty and there is some surface rust, but other than that it is in good shape. These used to be widely available but dried up a couple years ago. Price is $700 w/ payment via cash or paypal if FTF.
