  1. I just acquired some clean post sample MP5SD's in a trade-in from an LE agency. Im looking for advice from other dealers what you have found more advantageous. Selling the guns as dealer samples or demilling them into parts kits?

Originally I was just going to part them out but with the price of post samples going up Im now second guessing myself.

    Thanks

  2. Thank you guys that have contacted me privately about purchase, but what Im trying to figure out from a consensus is what a fair price would be when I list it. I know autoweapons has one for 13K but that seems steep to me and its a registered DD as well as a post sample.

For those that have asked it is confirmed a title 1 with ATF and I have the letter as well. I also have the barrel. (removed)

Thank you to those that have replied

  3. I'm an 07 and have two agencies that would like to transfer out some post 86 MG's for rebuilding.

The agencies have both stated that if the guns are not serviceable or cost affective to rebuild that they don't want them back.

ATF has advised me that they will approve the transfer via. form 5 as long as I have a letter from the agencies requesting the transfer.

My question is this : Since they are on a form 5 for the service and maintenance to me, if they don't want there guns back what are my options?

Could they be sold off as post samples assuming that someone wants to buy one with a law letter ?

I posed that question to the form 5 examiners and they could not come up with an answer.

Im looking for any first hand experience or advice.

    Thanks
