  1. Early Mid Range Colt SAA .45 LC, 4 3/4" barrel SN:48666SA 1968 production year.  Original Stagecoach box which was modified to hold a styrofoam cartridge block many years ago when these boxes were not as valuable as they are today.  A photographer friend made an insert to somewhat duplicate the original look.  I would rate this beautiful blue/case color revolver as a 98% gun.  I can't tell if it has been fired but cylinder may have been turned.  Doubt you will find a nicer example $3,200.00 Dave Gilmore, JDG Enterprise  dave.gilmore@sbcglobal.net

  2. My "Want To Buy" topic has now resulted in 3 scammers!  Probably not telling you guys anything you don't already know but if you are buying a firearm from a non FFL I suggest you require the seller to get it to an FFL near the seller so that FFL can confirm it really exists and then put it on his books so that he can ship it. Soon as the FFL confirms he has it I send payment to the seller.  These A hole scammers will send you a picture of their driver license and insist they are on the up and up but always want you to pay them directly and don't want to go the FFL route.

  3. Well I've been contacted by two scammers now!  I will describe one of them as fraud alert.  If any non FFL wants to sell me a firearm I will require you to get it to an FFL near you who will confirm you actually own it and then handle shipping to me.  I will pay him for his services of course.  Thank you.

  4. Been a while since I have done an E Form 4 for a client but managed to wade through it.  Got to final certify station where it let us successfully pay and validate.  When I attempt to have client sign and submit, the validate PIN pops up and it won't accept his PIN which we have successfully used previously on other NFA items.  I clicked on the "ask the experts" tab, entered my question on this issue.  It tells me the question was accepted but I hear nothing from BATFE.  Anyone had a similar experience?  Is there a phone number I can call? How do the 'experts" normally respond?

    Thanks in advance
