Our site is for individuals at least 18 years old.
When the various membership levels are announced, there will be a non-commercial level that allows for uploading/hosting images directly to the site, negating the need to host them elsewhere.
I assume that you have reached out to Geno from Reno, boltcarrier.com, and operationparts.com ?
Now that Instagram allows you to have several accounts, without having to "hack" the system, I have created an account for Sturmgewehr.
With that in mind, if you have quality photos (that you have the rights to) that you would like to offer up to be shared online, please post them here... The better the shots, the more traffic that will be driven back here, which equals more exposure for the items that you are trying to sell.
So share your shots (and if you are selling an item, let me know it is currently for sale, so I can include that in the post).. I would like to update our feed with 2 quality shots a day... Also keep in mind that quality photos go a long way towards selling your items - so use this as a little extra nudge to spend time taking those shots.

A Sten or a Mac is where I would put my efforts into looking... Personally I always found the Sten to be a lot of fun.
The originator of a topic on the Buy/Sell forums will show their geo-location (as derived from the IP address) in the lower right hand corner of a post. Please keep in mind that this data is approximate - many ISPs route their traffic to close by hubs, or in the case of business accounts many times they are routed to regional hubs. So please use this information as guide or additional reference point, but don't use it as the definitive statement of where the items is located.
That said, if you see a Registered Receiver MP5 for $15k, and the geo-location shows somebody in Morocco posted the ad, then prudence is recommended.
Correct ... A follow up to a post indicated that all went well (as a buyer or seller) is always helpful.
The ability to reply to ads is important for several reasons.
Answers common questions.
Allows a buyer to let others know that they have committed to buying an item (making it harder for a potential fraudulent seller to sell the same item times).
Allows bumping of an item that has been up already for 7-10 days
Shows items that have a high interest level (for whatever reason)
If you find a source for a firing pin, let us know, as I know somebody else with a HK4 that is probably in the market for one.
Since we are not an auction type site, tying direct feedback to a transaction is a little hard.. We can implement a generic feedback system that allows you to tag a user and leave positive or negative feedback, but there is nothing that keeps somebody from tagging somebody else erroneously or maliciously.
One of the reasons we have currently asked folks not to delete or edit out ads, is so that feedback can be left within the ad (at least as a starting point), that the transaction went successfully, etc.... As we develop the site, and see what areas need addressing, we will see about putting in a more effective feedback system for sales, but for now buyers and sellers alike tagging each other in the ads is where this type of info can be found.
Simple, but on its deaths bed....
Old Sturmgewehr had 30-ish posts on the NFA board in the last 7 days that it was active ... New Sturmgewehr format has 70+ posts in the past 7 days on the same board.
New board has a much better ability to deal with spammers, username hijacking, and other issues.
So instead of saying RIP Sturmgewehr.com , we can say Viva Sturmgewehr.com
An Analogy: Would you rather be the gun in the middle, or the gun on the top.... They are both cool, and both have their benefits, but only one of these has survived in the market, and many people would be hard pressed to remember the name of the other one.
They are cool guns... I have a portion of http://www.biggerhammer.net dedicated to it. We have recently moved the forum that was hosted there to machinegunboards.com but the original archive are at http://www.biggerham...toner/wwwboard/

No, this gun is a pre-ban SR-25 from 1992/1993, which was before they had the KAC 2 stage trigger - so it was basically a lightly modified standard trigger - very heavy and creepy by todays standards.
If you are looking for a comparison of the KAC Match 2 Stage trigger to the SSA-E (I have the current KAC 2 stage trigger in another rifle), I would say that the KAC has a shorter 1st stage pull, but a little heaver 2nd stage pull in comparison to the Geissele .... In its precision rifle role, I prefer the longer initial takeup.
Here are some pics of the two triggers ( SSA-E and 25 year old factory trigger).
I have an early model SR-25 that has always had a poor trigger by todays standards; so for Christmas I gifted myself a Geissele SSA-E trigger (they were running a hell of a Black Friday sale 30% off). Received the trigger and started to do the install, but found clearance issues resulting from the design of the receiver... Sent the trigger off to Geissele to be modified to fit early model SR-25s (or at least the ones that they had seen).. Trigger came back, but no go.. Geissele then suggested that I send the receiver to them, so they could make sure it fit etc (as it turns out the very early SR-25s had a large shelf under the hammer that kept other triggers from working without modification) -- 1 week later I have the gun back in my possession, with a great trigger and can now go stalk bullseyes at the local range.
So if you are thinking of getting a hot-rodded AR15 trigger, you really can't go wrong with Geissele - they stand behind their product, and make one of the best triggers in the business.
The topic has been closed, but for the record, this posting originated from Charlotte, North Carolina, 28214, United States
I would suggest a post on the General Board.
All of the info that was on the old board is still there... At some point we will link back to a read only archive that people can search.
If you are looking for an original, then you can reach out to Ruben at dealernfa.com , I know he has some old school cans that you could probably talk him out of.
In the top grey menu bar, to the far right is a search area.
If you click the left hand side of search function, you can tell it "This forum", or you can select other parts of the site.
Hope that helps.
Sellers can also be contacted via PM, however please be sure when getting an email notification of a PM that you respond to the notification on the site, and not in response to the site generated email - it won't get to the other party (it will come to me).

I'm sure there are pros and cons, but so far I'm liking the board changes a lot.
Positive comments are permitted (i.e. Sweet gun, only ever seen 1 before), as well as clarifying comments, etc (or saying that you bought it); however comments criticizing posters on prices, etc. are not allowed.

Paypal and checks
I have to say I love the work that you put into taking photos and showing the details... Photography is my other favorite form of shooting, I know it takes time, effort, and skill to do shots like these. Very nice.

At present there is no charge for posting.. as the membership levels are finalized, posting new ads will be part of the benefits of having a paid membership.
Send an email/message to us, and we can help change it up..
