Positive Feedback for 22ELEY:
Great seller - quick shipping!
Thanks again!
Personally I prefer 5.56 over 7.62 for machine guns in rifle caliber as they are much less expensive, more comfortable, and quieter to shoot. I do like factory machine guns and the Berettas are high quality.

How do I go about posting items for sale? I don't know if I need to upgrade to a paid membership, but any information would be appreciated.
Thanks
yes, you need to upgrade to a paid membership to post ads for sale (Sergeant or above)

Seller submitted a paper Form 4 to the NFA Branch transferring said item to an FFL/SOT in my home state. It's been about 8 weeks and nothing yet. I was under the impression that since this was is being transferred to dealer it wouldn't take too long for approval.
My SOT will efile a Form 4 on my behalf once he gets the item in his books. I'm very pleased to learn that efiles Form 4 are being approved lightning fast...but just waiting on the transfer to my dealer.
I've seen a Form 4 to dealer take 3 weeks and another one take 6 months. So my guess is somewhere in between.
Agree with Got Uzi - Paper form 3 is about as quick as E-form 3 if you email it to NFA branch, in my experience.

When they decided to sell (within the last 2 years), ATF confiscated it as a Post Sample. ATF admitted their mistake but the current administration policy is to give no grace on their mistakes as they have in the past. That was per the ATF attorney in Washington. They would not even allow the parts to be removed. And it was an expensive gun, not what your's is listed for but $30K+.
this right here is the crux of the matter (and the risk)

In addition to clear photos, ask for her name and the current date on a piece of paper in the photos.
I agree with other posters, this sounds scammy. Proceed with caution.
This can EASILY be faked by photoshop. I posted an example of this on Sturm a year or so ago.
The best way (IMO) is to do a video chat and see the gun "live"
my understanding is that you can E-file the Form 4 just like any other recipient. You do need to submit photos and fingerprints. Once the Form 4 is approved, you can ship directly to the C&R. Someone please correct me if this is wrong.

In white. FYI the multiple colors are only when you bring up the inventory to select for transfer (e.g. a form 3 or 4).
if you look at your inventory under your profile, they all appear white
Same here
Stories like this make for good reason to address this in any sales or transfer contract. I do a fair amount of layaways on gunbroker and I’ve had a few where they make 1 payment then disappear off the face of the earth.

these days I think a paper form 4 is just as fast. much less frustrating for sure.
if you're not willing to do that, try a different browser on your computer. Safari has issues

I think that's a good strategy. I sent a certified check overnight/signature required (USPS) and it got "lost". Post office's response was a joke. It took 90 days to get my money back in my account. Every method has it's drawbacks, but a regular check can be cancelled right away. A few extra days for it to clear is no big deal, in the big scheme of things.
my 2 experiences dealing with SOUTAC were exactly the same as JTM35a2

What shipping method do you use for NFA firearms?

If it’s worth more than $50k you can always get a supplemental insurance policy to cover the full value.
i agree that USPS registered (with an airtag) is the safest and most secure
