54100
I'm interested in the proper legal and safe method to sell Class 3 items. Not a dealer, live in Florida. Thanks, Brad

Roy Cagnacci II
If you want to sell something you already have to. You can do a paper Form4 to someone in your state and when approved you can give it to them, just like when you bought it. Are you can form 4 it to a dealer, to transfer out of state or for Him to sell for you

Grasshopper
Hi 54100, If it is someone local in the same state, it is now possible to e-file Form4's between individuals. eForms accounts are a no-cost item but there is a bit of a learning curve. When the Eform is approved, the transferee gets the NFA item & a printout of the approved form. There are numerous ways to sell class 3 items. Basic rule: You hang onto the firearm/item until the paperwork to the next registered person/entity is approved. Good Luck, Grasshopper
