Mholmes1
Not your average M38 Mosin. This is a non-refurb with matching stock/buttplate and bolt. Floorplate is scrubbed. This is most likely a Finn capture that never got marked accordingly. Handguard is the rare early 1st variant which shows some cracking along the length. Bore is very nice. C&R eligible. $1000 + shipping https://imgur.com/a/NDLCkOy Per Matt Diriso in his book Finnish Mosin nagant Three-Line rifle to Ukko-Pekka on page 453 "There are also Finnish captured carbines that never recieved any property or cartridge markings and are now impossible to identify as Finnish in origin." Also in this book on page 452 "The postwar FDF held 2,291 M/38 and m/44 in storage in 1951. The FDF scrapped a sizeable, although unknown quantity, of these captured carbines and sold the remaining examples to Interarms in 1959."
