riflejunky
I have been kicking around the idea of selling my Sterling. I haven't seen one sell in a while so I thought I would ask those who might have an idea what these guns are going for today. Mine is a DLO tube gun and the suppressor says SRT arms. tommyboy
Seems there have been a few for sale for a while in the 20-23k range. In this market, 16-18k would probably get it sold. Edited September 14 by tommyboy
Bill in VA
Is it a true Sterling tube, or is it a Stenling/converted Sten tube? I’d presume a Sterling tube MkV might bring closer $22k, with a Stenling several thousand less.
jrh
North of $30K. But you don't say who built the gun. That makes a difference to me. I know of several builders I wouldn't touch. Can the suppressor be taken apart? Is it a copy of the original? https://www.sturmgewehr.com/forums/index.php?/topic/38829-spf-sterling-mk5-l34a1-–-dlo-andrewski-kgb-armament-–-transferable-smg-–-9mm/#comment-137170 Here is another with a SRT suppressor. Who built your gun though? Edited September 16 by jrh Add more info.
trilogymac
Last one I saw for sale was a DLO (sterling tube) completed by Andrewski and it sold for the asking. 32.5k. 1-1/2 years ago. A friend bought it. The MK5 and his MP5 are his favorites. Edited September 16 by trilogymac
riflejunky
So it is a Sterling tube, the suppressor marking says SRT DH Mellon Co. Tempe Az. under the hand guard and it has Allen screws at the muzzle so I assume it can be disassembled but I have never done it. I couldn't find any other marks on the gun and it says DLO on the form 4. It does have studs for mounting a sight base on top of the tube. Who built your gun though? I found the following in the owners manual that came with the gun. Not the same certificate as the one in Reuben's add but there are only very minor differences in my gun and the one in the add. Mine has studs for mounting a sight rail
