Navgunner
I'm considering selling my S&H Arms converted HK53 A3 SBR (Sear Ready)... what's it worth? Edited September 8 by Navgunner
JoshNC
Is it a factory 53 barrel? 1:7 or 1:12 twist?
Navgunner
Factory 1:
JoshNC
That definitely limits its value a bit. I’d say $7-8k.

Side Arm Sams
I believe it may be worth a bit more than 7-8K given the scarcity of 53 parts kits. Other factors to consider. Is it a true 53 cocking tube? Is that a true HK 4-prong Flash hider? They’re unobtainable. One on GB for $1200. Crazy but it’s out there. Is the Bolt Carrier a factory F/A carrier? I wouldn’t consider listing it for less than $9500+. Just my layman’s opinion. Good luck in your sale. Jim
Navgunner
All great info! Thank you guys!! I've got a table at the November 14 & 15th Wanenmacher Gun Show (the "Tulsa Show" which is said to be the biggest in the world); I want to have some nicer items to have on the table and this is one of them. I'm going to put a $8,500 sticker on her and see what happens. As far as I know, this 93 conversion utilized most of the host firearm's parts so the barrel has the 1:12 twist, the bolt has a welded trip, etc. The 4-prong flash hider is factory HK and the 0,1,25 lower housing is clipped / pinned but those are hard to find parts regardless because to the best of my knowledge they were only produced for the FAs chambered in .223 cal. The slimline handgurard is pictured but the triangle is included too. I purchased the gun directly from Curtis and she has spent most of her life sitting in a safe but could use a refresh if someone wanted the finish to be perfect and never shoot her again. I've shot it sparingly but she does run perfectly.

Jim $7-8k would be for a gun with converted parts and cut down 1:12 twist 93 barrel. That’s what @Navgunner sounds to have. A gun that used a genuine factory 53 parts kit with 1:7 twist barrel for the conversion will fetch more.
