PPS-43 Reweld Builds

Recommended Posts

Talking amongst my inner 07/02 circle I've decided to do a run of pps43 builds next. It's looking like I'm already up to 8 or so builds on the list and wouldn't mind adding a few more.

In addition to the PPS43 I've successfully built several uzi and Thompsons (1928 and M1) and can provide photos of my work and I'm sure references as well from those 07s if needed. Many of which are here on sturm. For the money you definitely will not be disappointed in these builds.

PPS-43 Build Details:

Builds start at $750 for a fully built PPS-43 including one magazine. This includes the kit and all standard parts to build. Deposit due to begin build is $350. This first batch deposit is due by August 28th. After that I'm happy to put you on the schedule but turnaround will be in line behind the August 28th customers.

Turnaround time is 60-90 days from the day I have all parts back and your approved NFA forms on hand. 60 or less is the goal but I still have a full time job and 3 young kids at home so I always give myself plenty of time.

I can handle NFA engraving if needed for no additional cost via my fiber laser.

Approved F2 for 07/02 builds is required to begin work on your build. Same also goes for those wanting an SBR build. Regardless if you are doing F2 or SBR; YOU will be the registered manufacturer. I will simply engrave and mail you the pertinent parts so you can file the paper work and then log out/ship back to me for work.

I will NOT be doing any semi auto building on these beyond putting a denial in for the title 1 builds. All test firing will be done with my post sample open bolt and your unmodified lower receiver.

Barrels/Caliber: 9mm or 7.62 Tok. The gun isn't designed so you can easily swap barrels between the 2. The barrels are taper pinned and tack weld in place. 16" barrel is an option but does add considerable cost due to price of barrel and additional work to install.

Parts Kit: The kits used will be the fixed wood stock style. If you'd like to to use a metal folding stock that will be fine. The only way to get the folding stock parts is to buy an additional parts kit (~$120). You must buy both kits because currently the only kits with all receiver pieces are the wood stock kits. However, buying the folder kit is still a good value as you get a full set of misc/spare parts/magazines.

For all my fellow 07/02 with post samples; once I've finished my experimenting I may be able to offer a lightened bolt for increased ROF that will be available for additional machining cost.

After grinding/blending the welds down the refinishing will be a simple cold blue on any bare metal to keep out rust. The rest is up to you. I can recommend another 07 I use for refinishing if you are looking for someone to park/cerakote/hot blue.

If you're interested please send a message and I'll provide a quick order form to fill out and get an invoice generated. Thanks!

I've also setup a signal group for those who wish to join and see more info and discussion on the PPS-43.
