MPFiveO Posted June 30 Report Share Posted June 30 After many thousands of rounds I've knocked the backplate loose on my Uzi. Initially I thought the stock was bent because it wouldn't latch properly. Then I saw that the backplate had separated from the receiver shell on the right side. How were these welded originally? I can make an alignment jig with a threaded rod. I know welders and I know guys that parkerize. I can get all this done, I just need to know the best method of welding these two pieces together.
